The Yellow Star

"A Found Poem" in Night

Annihilate an entire people

Surely it was a dream

Of what then did you die

Like a page torn out of a book

Men left! Women right!

All this could not be real

Clench your teeth and wait

As if we had a choice

Never shall I forget….

Never.
