Have mercy, please ~on abuse~
I don't know where this came from.. but It really makes me think.Your hand comes sharply across my face,
burning on impact, as my head snaps back,
nearly bringing whiplash.
It's as if I've forgotten everything, like I have no pride anymore
as I beg at your feet for mercy
trying to smooth everything over, as if it were my job
to make everything right.
I crawl away, and you make no noise
but I can feel you come up behind me,
bend your leg backwards,
and send it tumbling into my side.
I cry out from the agony, more from the shame.
As you finish your agression off on me,
I curl up into the fetal position
begging for someone to have mercy upon me.
burning on impact, as my head snaps back,
nearly bringing whiplash.
