Fake
I'm fake
all my happiness, all my joy,
everything you see,
is pretend, not the real me.
Nobody ever sees my true face,
nobody knows who i really am.
I may appear to be content, hard to upset,
but with every insult i take, another scar is made in my heart.
I have but one true friend,
she sees past my mask, past my face,
into my soul.
People say one is enough,
people say you never forget a friend,
what people don't say,
is they're lying...
all my happiness, all my joy,
everything you see,
is pretend, not the real me.
Nobody ever sees my true face,
nobody knows who i really am.
I may appear to be content, hard to upset,
but with every insult i take, another scar is made in my heart.
I have but one true friend,
she sees past my mask, past my face,
into my soul.
People say one is enough,
people say you never forget a friend,
what people don't say,
is they're lying...
