Out shining the streetlights in the morning
Gloom
Taming the seas from it's perch on the horizon
The Moon
Dreamily lazing in the sky
Laying in the comfort of your milky eye
Encouraging lovers to dance in your light
Encouraging the Sun to fade with the Night
Shying away
From the Day
The owl that calls "Who? Who?"
And the wolf that cries for you
So shine so very strong
And sing of a lunar song
