The Silent Angel
a flightless dove
with angel wings
a diamond star
unable to shine
an all knowing
unseeing eye
this is our sorrow
our thousand
silent
screams
that plead
and pray for the day when
the silent angel sings
the invisible hero's
weakness
waiting for an alarm
that will never
be set
winds racing
piercing thoughts
a knife burning
begging
for the day when
the silent angel sings
a toxic state where youth
has lost all
innocence
have forgotten those
before
no phoenix out of
the ashes
the souls
die here
until the day the
silent angel
sings
with angel wings
a diamond star
unable to shine
an all knowing
unseeing eye
this is our sorrow
our thousand
silent
screams
that plead
and pray for the day when
the silent angel sings
the invisible hero's
weakness
waiting for an alarm
that will never
be set
winds racing
piercing thoughts
a knife burning
begging
for the day when
the silent angel sings
a toxic state where youth
has lost all
innocence
have forgotten those
before
no phoenix out of
the ashes
the souls
die here
until the day the
silent angel
sings
