Up away, into the sky
Angels
Our eyes unable
As they soar and fly
They are there watching over you
Giving you there hearts
keeping you safe
for all of us on Mothers Day
As the sun sulks behind the hills
You know mommy and daddy
are waltzing past the flowers and the mills
Hushing to you a Happy Mothers Day.
They watch your eyes close
they wait...
They watch your eyes open
They feel your breathing caress their souls
They wish you a new morning,
a new afternoon,
a new night.
So tighten your grip
and hold on tight.
They are there beside you...
whispering with the wind...
