Dear Diary

I met a boy,
I gave him my heart,
And my heart remaining the same,
Ever since the start.
He's always been there,
Always a friend,
Goin through all the wrong people,
All the comfort he'd lend.
Day to day,
The thought of him in my mind,
I really care for this boy,
And that's what I'd find.
He gives me this feeling,
Of safety and being inneed,
All those long nights of phone calls,
And the tears that my eyes bleed.
