i saw yesterday in tomorrows eyes
it moved as slow as life moves fast
i saw tomorrow in yesterdays goodbyes
i saw life take its breath at last
we spoke of light
you spoke of dark
until it lost its sight
then you lost its heart
we tried to save you
you rejected us
we sent you away and you came back
we came for you
you finally accepted us
you know we loved you too!
