I know your secret...
what you do when she's gone.
One car pulls out and another
pulls right up towards your lawn.
It's not the girl I used to see
No, in fact this one's as
pretty as she can be.
You go inside, doing God knows what.
When your real girl happens to show,
Boy are in such a rut.
If only you knew that I know.
I know your secret...
Girl who barely speaks her name.
No one knows why you hang
your head in such shame.
Until one day I passed by,
I heard a thunk, a whack
then a shrill, pained cry.
Now we know where those bruises are from.
This is clearly the pure liquor, no?
Not the watered down rum?
If only you knew that I know.
I know your secret...
What it's gaining in your 'gut'.
No, it's not food, and I beg you
I'm not calling you a slut.
Just one time, a teenage girl,
"forgot" the protection
but still gave it a whirl.
So as you think we can't see though it,
remember the times until you
step into that dreadful clinic.
Taking an innocent life away...
What if you knew I know today?
I know your Secret
Just stuff I found out this past two weeks...ughh (None about me, I promise.)Did you like this poem? Write one of your own!
