What my smile doesn't tell you
is that you have broken my heart.
I'm lost and unsure of what to do,
my world has fallen apart.
My sadness is something I won't say
and something you don't know.
In my mind, memories of us replay
and how I wish you never let me go.
The tears I won't let you see fall from my eyes,
The sobs you hate to hear me cry.
My smile is my disguise,
Used only when I want to die.
These feelings of sorrow,
I will always hide.
I'm slowly becoming hollow,
with no comfort to reside.
While in this depression, I'm sure,
I'll cling to the past desperately.
And I need you to answer,
Do you still love me?
[I'm all smiles]
