Jump
just keeping smilingA simple nod.
Our greeting.
I sit beside, looking outside to the ocean on that bridge.
You say,"I'm tired."
I say,"I'm sorry."
You smile, a small one.
"Let's go home," I say.
"I'm dieing," You replie. "you know I am."
My heart pounds as you stand on thebridge.
"Good bye forever."
You jump and I cry.
