She Were a Window
shijkjkjkjlkjl;blahShe watches the window.
Always, everyday, wondering how it must feel
to be on both sides;
the inside looking out
the outside looking in.
Never moving- and seeing everything.
Feeling the pelt of cold, hard raindrops against you; always.
Feeling the sunlight against you, warming you,
going right through you
and hitting the faces of those who take the time to look.
But she never leaves from where she is;
because she is afraid to see
both sides for herself.
So she stays where she is-watching,wishing...
that she were a window.
Always, everyday, wondering how it must feel
to be on both sides;
the inside looking out
the outside looking in.
Never moving- and seeing everything.
Feeling the pelt of cold, hard raindrops against you; always.
Feeling the sunlight against you, warming you,
going right through you
and hitting the faces of those who take the time to look.
But she never leaves from where she is;
because she is afraid to see
both sides for herself.
So she stays where she is-watching,wishing...
that she were a window.
