Plummeting quietly

I glance at the world

For the last time?

Did you push me, did you realize....?

Some say no, some say yes

But in my heart, I know the truth

The reason I let go is you

Did you push me off the edge?

You watched me fall, I saw you

Turning your spitefull gaze away

Blind to all my suffering?

The rocks and CUTS are the pain you cause me

Down I fall, farther still

Dare I find one branch of hope?

To grasp tightly in my bruised hands

I claw my way up

Slowly, slowly

I grit my teeth and think of you

And I slip and fall

But I'm still hanging on by a thread

Because of you, I let go

But this time, what I let go

And must leave behind

Is you
