I stand on a darkened street corner,
look both ways,
and step out into a vast world of opportunity.
It's overwhelming;
the plethora of decisions:
choices that have to be made.
I panic at how fast things are going by,
and suddenly I start to fall backward.
And in this panic,
I discover myself,
right myself
and continue walking in this new world.
I just thought this ^ was funny.
