Traitors by Husam and Izzy
Joint poem with Husam! woot! Would love some feedback!H: Looked for a hundred words to explain my excuse...to give them traitors a chance
I: Their eyes glowed red, I dismissed it for love
H: Their hearts, melted my sadness...or so I believed, back when they laughed with me
I: Their words, glowed with radiance...never thought, they were laughing at me
H: Were they satisfied by my misery, they all betrayed me...they all stabbed me...i bleed, and my tears, were the least of my worries
I: How I hungered to show them my bruises, the ones they had stowed in me, as slowly...I was engulfed by fury
H: I wouldn’t accept it, to sanction their hatred...adversaries, murderers...or so i felt...not knowing I was held reprehensible to my rights
I: I held the blade, watched it glimmer , glisten, madden my eyes, whilst I lulled over my thoughts, I was higher than them now, wasn't I?
H: Wasnt I lord ? above all grey hearted ? beyond the dimensions of blood ? of love ? of human...pitiful emotions ? wasn’t I lord ? wasn’t I alone ?
I: Changed, slowly, time ticked and tocked...but I changed, and as I took a dip in bane, I emerged heartless and insane
H: insanity became humanity...humanity was evil...evil to me was mercy...and mercy...was an end approaching.. Don't delay me the pleasure...O lord.. Do not
I: I want them, O' lord, I need them so
H: We seek them, do they seek us back?
I: Their eyes glowed red, I dismissed it for love
