Guardian Angels
apparently the first time i put this in it didn't go in all the way! or maybe the change had something to do with it!Guardian Angels
Are never to be seen
Never to be heard
Not until tragity
We live to protect those
who are close to us
We are never to leave their side
But it may be tragity if
the Angel can no longer watch them
I'm to protect someone
But they are out of my reach
They will not allow me to move
Yet taunts me as I kneel here
My clothes of white turn more brown
The chains sink into my fleash and wings
I know they see me
But that person refuses to help me
On the outside I still smile
You take it that I'm alright
On the inside I'm crying
The tears fall down my face
As an Angel I feel so dirty
I try to wash off the filth
Only to find that water did nothing
Only smear the dirt
Made it sink deeper
I could be clean again
With just one touch
But you're blind to see me
Blind to see I'm slowly dying
The smile is fake
My joy is a lie
When will you look
Into my eyes
Can you not see
the hidden pain?
The chains are heavy
On my once clean skin,
My once pure heart
But I guess you're truely too blind to see
The dirt, the chains, and my sorrow
Guardian Angels
They may look beautiful now
But look again
Into one's eyes
And you will see the truth
Guardian Angels
They suffer most of all
When you cannot see
They need help too
Maybe even more than you
Are never to be seen
Never to be heard
Not until tragity
We live to protect those
who are close to us
We are never to leave their side
But it may be tragity if
the Angel can no longer watch them
I'm to protect someone
But they are out of my reach
They will not allow me to move
Yet taunts me as I kneel here
My clothes of white turn more brown
