You promised we'd go out somewhere
But we didn't
You promised you wouldn't hurt me
But you did
You promised it would be the last time
But it wasn't
I promised my friend i'd go to her house
But I didn't
I promised not to get mad
But I did
I promised to do all my chores
But I didn't
What good is a promise if you don't keep it?
'Promise' no longer means anything to me
