As I lay asleep
I am infact awake
Invisioning reality that has yet to come
Dreaming of the screams
Of pain and fear
Dreaming of happieness
That the end is near.
AsI lay awake
Ibreath so deep
With scars and burns
Marking my cheek.
Remembering those happy times
Where Iwas their sun
Only to dull
When the truth was shun.
An unworthy smile
Crept across my face
Remembering those dreams
Wherethe end was near
Recalling all the hate and fear
Igrin even wider
For my dream was real.
Leave Me As I Lie
