She looks in the mirror on the wall
Barely hearing her roommates talking down the hall
She smoothes out her short blue skirt
Then re-adjusts her sleeveless white shirt
As she touches up the liner around her icy blue eyes
She thinks about how tonight her fiancé would be in for a surprise
Then she finished straightening her shoulder length brown hair
Suddenly she stopped to look at her reflection and stare
Immediately she was lost deep in thought
And within her own mind she was caught
Tonight will be the night
Our souls together will take flight
It has been four years now that we have waited
Over and over in her head she debated
After tonight she would not longer be just a girl
Her virginity he would soon unfurl
Of this plan he was unknowing
The love between them was increasingly growing
She was ready to give him what she held dearest in her heart
She decided that with this precious gift she was ready to part
She looked at the clock and it was a quarter to seven
He had no idea they were about to feel like they were in heaven
Long ago they decided to wait until she was ready
She looked at her hands and they were shaking and unsteady
She called a taxi because a belt in her car had broken
She was so nervous about giving him herself as a token
As she was dialing his number there was a knock at the door
She was so nervous she dropped her cell to the floor
She opened the door and followed the taxi driver to his car
She thought about walking instead but decided in heels it was too far
The tension began to build within her as they pulled up to his place
She sat in the back seat for an extra moment to check her perfect face
There was not a single stray hair on her head
Nor a single stitch of make up thathad bled
She paid the driver his tip and fee
She then went to Connors door and used the hidden key
As she stepped inside she was engulfed in his music blaring
She walked to his room all the while mentally preparing
As she stepped in to his room her heart began to break
It was then she realized their whole relationship had been a fake
They did not even realize that she was there
All she could do was stand in the door and stare
He told her previously that to her he would never be unfaithful
But that contradicted the scene before her which was utterly disgraceful
She walked out of the room but the door she did not close
As she roamed his place memories of their happiness arose
She took off her ring and set it on the table
And walked to the closet as steady as she was able
That is where he had his gun hidden
And where she was told she was forbidden
She slowly waked to his room for the final time
So she could commit her vindictive crime
This time she did not bother being silent
She wanted to kill them in a way extremely gruesome and violent
The first person she shot was the girl
At that second she felt her head begin to swirl
She knew she could not stop now
So she pulled the trigger again somehow
She then looked down at the gun
And realized what she had done
As she began to leave the room she took a look back
Then looked at the gun once more and everything began to go black
