life is nought but a dream
the true living played out when your eyes slide close in sweet surrender
like a blind man begging
so do I beg for it to end and yet continue
while i dream on in clouds so high
my reality comes blasting down unheaded
what I need and dread are one
to bring my interest back to the land of the living
and yet the gentle embrace of foggy lands is so familiar
this clear bright day frightens and hurts
and so I sit and wait, fog entangling me further
with it's deadly kiss
I both fear and desire
foggy kisses
I wrote this the same day I wrote sinking so it's sort of along the same lines.Did you like this poem? Write one of your own!
