Stopping point in Time

Seeing the world spin faster
And using up mother nature
Making a mess of creations
Formed when the world was crawling
Watching people fly by
Without a passing glance or simple 'hi'
Making a plan for themselves
While forgetting to stop and turn around
To see the little girl laughing
Then watch her turn into tears
To watch her grow
They 've missed her so
Without even knowing what she's after
She's chasing a friend through time
While he walks even faster
Knowing what he's after
she's desperate to find her happily ever after
She's gaining
and she's yelling a name that was long forgotton
Chasing down the one
Who saved her from her own damnation
Looking the world over
And deciding it a lost cause
She gave one more noble effort
To see the face of glory
She yelled his name
and he finally turned around
to see her pass away
A stopping point in time
He left his own creation
He left his heart in her hands
And she chased him till she gave him
His heart that read
'Forever I will remember and I will always wait for you'
She chased him as he ran and then passed without recognation
