Act 1

The lash falls, leaving a red trail
So beautiful to me, so painful, so remniscent
Of the pain and joy I have suffered at your hands
My father, my father,
You whom I hate more than any other being
And to whom I could not be bound more completely
I sinned, devouring my closest frind
I murdered, what may be a thousand insignificant human lies
For you, for without you, I do not exist
No meaning, no life, no direction to turn to
So even when you punish me
As I defy you, as I aid him
I feel joy
For that I am worthy of your notice
I feel hate
That I am bound so thoroughly
As this

Act 2

Envy is perhaps
the Deadliest Sin of all
And yet, I cannot envy you at all
You, the child cursed to wander forever
You took my father's love
And his hatred as well
But because of you
I exist
You have given Father a reason to allow me to exist
You have cursed me to live with only hal his attention
Beautiful angel, with your perfect golden-green eyes
I shall marr your holy darkness, your cursed glow
And you shall become as you are
The lowly sinning child, born of sin
Cry for me and Die for me
Your tears enhance your perfection
and your death shall take it from this world forever
Never again shall the bound bird fight the falcon again
Never again shall your light cast me into Envy
Only those eyes shall remain behind
For me to cherish and loath the fact that you ever existed at all

Act 3

What am I
The mistresses child who was never loved
The killer, the Death card
A man of Ashes
A puppet on a string
tugging the strings, if only a little
But only a little
Cages bird, the key just out of reach
I sought a love that wasn't there
To be free'd by that man
To find something mirroring the pair
The bond of freeing chains that
You and the cursed angel have shared
When you were not there, you were
And he knew
I hated and fought and tortured and was tormented
and now I realize
That by aiding, and not preventing
You are the one who truly set me free
