Even if your hand falls
I will celebrate your life
Hes going to die soon
I wont let him
I see hes fighting
And so am I
He loves you
I know, he told me
And I know he recognizes I love him
I will never stop
He wants a hug
I gave him many more then he wanted
If hugs could cure someone
I wouldve succeeded
Hes gone to a better place
I wish you didnt have to tell me that
I wish he could. . .
I wish he could tell me himself
I remember
Every day you took care of me
You told me not to swing too high, that you were worried
I will keep you safe
You dont have to worry anymore
I will remember you
The last thing I said was I love you
I will honor your memory
I see your smile in my head
Funny how everyone is crying around me
Smile more grandpa
Every time I smile it'll be for you
