If I were to be alone silence would rock my tears

Because its all about love and I know better

Flower petals fall like minutes
Each one defining time
A chant broken
Voice repentant
Falling like the tears in my eyes
My pain it seems is so transparent
Everyone can see I'm down
And the passion for him was apparent
Rejected with a simple frown
Visions of angelic arms
Fade in my restless head
Stories of love to be spoken
Quelled, left never said
Flower petals falling like minutes
Time is all that I've got
Sucker punched in the gut with one eager question
And he loves me not
