Betrayed
You never felt so small
Like you didn't even matter
Until she stabbed you hard
You didn't think she'd soon forget
The friendship you had shared
Such a short while ago
You didn't know she could
Never thought she would
Pull you down so far
You want to curl up and cry
And just let her win
She cut you deep
You've had enough
You want no more
You can see it in her eyes
She doesn't want to hurt you
But now she's cool
And she has to live up
She can't know you
She will never again care
That she dragged you
And pulled you
Till you could hardly breathe
She knew exactly how to hurt you
You'd trusted her with your heart
She pulled it out
Stomped on it
And kicked it down the street
She doesn't care
You want her to know
You want it to stop
But you can't see her win
Because all you want
Down deep inside
Is just to be friends again.
