Broken Inside

Okay!
Broken Inside
You see her in the hallways,
Laughing and smiling,
People think she's so perfect,
But no one knows what she's hiding;
She has a perfect boyfriend,
Perfect family,
Perfect life,
But no one knows what she's holding in,
No one knows her pain and strife;
You might know her perfect boyfriend,
Captain of the football team?
Well he's been sneaking around with the slut on the cheerleading squad,
When she saw them making out together she wished it was only a bad dream;
But no one knows,
No one can,
About that fateful day,
She has to keep going on,
Smiling all the way;
You know her perfect family?
With the gigantic mansion home?
With all the money in the world?
With all those acres to roam?
Well her dad is a drunk,
And hits her mom and herself,
Her dad might lose his million dollar job,
And all of thier wealth;
But she holds it in,
She'll never tell,
She just holds it in,
Even though her bruises continue to swell;
About her perfect life,
You see it's just falling apart,
Her friends are always bad-mouthing her,
They were never true from the start;
No one will care,
Her heart is shattered,
And broken beyond repair,
She keeps smiling in the hallway,
And laughing all the time,
And hoping no one will find out the secrets she hides.
