Scene one and they prepare,
he makes sure he looks alright.
She overdoes her make up and hair,
And the other girl will be alone tonight.
Oh no she could never compare,
because he swears that things feel so right.
In this act, in the entire play, nothing is how it should be.
And everyone wants it to be a certain way, but the poor boy is just too blind to see
that the girl that he'll be happy with is alone and waiting.
He still can't see the mistakes he's making.
Scene 2 he leaves the house with a smile on,
and she takes off and can't wait to see her "property".
And he can't see what she's planning on,
he doesn't know that he'll be sorry.
And the other girl sits and waits to be the one,
and while he smiles she cries and asks herself "why doesn't he love me?"
