I try to think of why
Why you seem to always be on my mind
The answers I try to find
And the reasons are . . .
I think of you as my superman
Saving everyday
I think of you as my one-man band
Playing every note in a magical way
I think of you as if I could spend moment with you just right
Without a fight
And we would have the time of our lives
Suddenly we’d realize
That the fun would never have to end
Because, all in all, we are best friends
I try to think of why
Why you seem to always be on my mind
The answers I try to find
The reason behind it all
That makes me not care if I fall
I can go on and on listing answers
And still
Never list the most important reason
That after all this time
Time spent thinking about you
That now I know I love you
I try to think of why

I could never ask for more
I could never find another
