I’m not the kind of girl who

Put words in your mouth

But I do need answers

So put words in my head

I’m so confused

Because you’re telling me this

Yet I’m hearing that

I want to believe you

Oh I do

But you’ve lied to me before

So why should I trust you now?

There are many questions to ask

But so little time to say them all

So I guess we’ll have to

Find some time

I’m not the kind of girl who

Hopefully they’re true

But with you

I never know

When it was just me and you

I believed

That you could be telling the truth

So I lied to myself

All I need is the truth

But will I ever know?

I guess that’s what trust is all about
